With the ever-increasing accountabilities of governors and trustees it is important that they are enabled to understand their responsibilities in the educational context. Enrich offers support to groups and governing bodies as well as individual governors, trustees and board members in understanding their role in safeguarding specifically as well as in ensuring effective whole school governance. Kate focuses on ‘doing the right thing’ whilst also ensuring that governors understand and can fulfil their responsibilities effectively in preparation for both Ofsted and ISI inspections.
Support may include individual or whole governing body training sessions, discussions, joint learning walks, pupil voice support, or analysis of data and records. It focuses on getting beneath the skin of a school so that governors and trustees know what they know, know what they don’t know and can offer the appropriate, robust support and challenge.

Enrich can support governors, trustees and leaders in re-setting a school’s organisational aims in a manner which engages adults and pupils and which helps leaders drive improvements. This is a bespoke programme according to the needs of the school or group and may typically involve meetings with governors & trustees, senior leaders and pupils, support in planning or co-leading workshops, a synthesis of the outcomes and a prioritisation of the next steps.

These involve interviews with leaders, governors, teachers and pupils, an analysis of data, a review of the self-evaluation process and its impact, safeguarding evaluations, website analysis, work scrutiny and lesson observations. This includes clear oral feedback as well as a written report and/or an executive summary of the findings.

Leadership reviews may include discussions with school or group boards or governing bodies and senior leaders, reviews of policies, processes and their implementation, data analysis, observations, work scrutiny and pupil voice, all of which contribute to a forensic understanding of an organisation, and which enable constructive and empowering conversations. Detailed feedback and support is always a feature of these reviews.

Executive coaching and mentoring for senior leaders: this may also sit alongside a whole school review. Focusing on identifying challenges and barriers to success, Kate supports leaders to develop solutions, strategies and plans which make a difference.

These may be whole or part days; twilight sessions to include gap tasks and reviews; individuals, small groups or whole school or may be conducted remotely as appropriate. Sessions might focus on:
